Root Bloat removal questions

I'm removing bloat from GB and got rid of almost everything I want to, except for the Amazon Kindle, Backup Assistant, Madden, and NFS.

I removed a Kindle apk and a Backup Assistant apk, but the icons are still in my app drawer...what am I missing? Also is it possible to remove the 2 games?

EDIT: got rid of the backup assistant but still fighting Kindle and the 2 games.

yeah I didn't remove them, I just created a "REMOVED_BLOAT" folder and shoved all the unwanted apk's into there with es file explorer.

But can you or can you not move Madden or NFS? It's not on the list in the above referenced post of safe/not safe to remove files.

Backup assistant used to be on the list of what not to remove, since it is now on the safe list, I think Madden and NFS should be fine.

according to my phone NFS can be uninstalled...Madden cannot

Same here. Madden cannot be uninstalled through the front end settings menu. I uninstalled NFS but I think I saw the files still hanging around taking up space...gonna hafta hunt those down again.

At least my app drawer is getting slightly less cluttered now...anyone else get a little perverse pleasure when they find those verizon apk's and crush them like the little cockroaches they are? :D

So tried to move madden and it said "sorry madden.apk cannot be moved" or something similar....???

How is that possible if I have root access and I'm using ES File Explorer with confirmed superuser permissions?

I ended up just renaming it to madden.bak but still wondering why I couldn't move it?

I always use Root Explorer and always works fine.
