Root Batery Life on ROMS

I am currently using Warm Two Point @ (RLS5) because it has the best battery life that i have found. I can go the whole day on one charge. Is there any other good rom that you recommend that is not only good but also has god battery life. Greatly appreciated.

any version of CM7 w/ tiamat 4.0.5 sbc .. up to two days off one charge w/ moderate use .. this combo is king in terms of battery life

if you don't mind sense, i have run koni's elite III with netarchy-4.3.4-cfs-havs-more-sbc and have gotten outstanding battery life... along with setcpu to under clock while screen off.... best combo i have tried, period...

Koni's/Netarchy gave me great battery life. I keep it on a nandroid backup in case of emergency

I never really understood the difference between sense and aosp.

sense roms have htc os (sense) that lies on top of the android os. and aosp(android open source project) is pure android with nothing that htc or sprint adds to it. it tends to be smaller and for some runs faster and smoother.

it really all a matter of preferences. i used to hate aosp roms, but with cm7/tiamat combo i was getting the best battery life ever. however, these new sense roms are pretty amazing, you just have to sacrifice a bit of the battery life for it.

I am currently running Alliance R7.6 and since my Sprint service at home got fixed, I am getting better battery life than I got on CM7 and Tiamat. CM7 + Tiamat gave me 75% after 10 hours moderate use.....getting 80% after the same amount of time now. Radio, PRI, and PRL versions DO make a difference. I have played with a few of them and finally got a good combo for my area.

my battery must be a dud because everyone loves that combo and i was getting like 12 hours a charge on it max. then again, that's about the max i've gotten with any of the dozens of things i've tried since rooting 8 months ago...

The kernel I was running while on CM7 was SavagedZen's and I would get 3 days on one charge....The longest I've ran on this setup was 3 days 10 hours and 41 min.

yeah unfortunately kernels and even roms react differently on different phones. so everybody's combos will be different. the key is to try out various kernels and see what your phone likes or dislikes.

i do miss that combo though.
