[HELP!] Samsung galax s2 kernel downgrade??

HI everyone,
s2 is my 1st android n i recently rooted it....prior to rooting it was xwke8 but i flashed it with chainfires kf2 kernal n made a back up off it after which i flashed lightning rom which i dint think was the best rom(battery wise)...so i restored it but now my phone shows GINGERBREAD.xwk8 n kernal n baseband as kf2....i think i messed up :| coz if i need to avail the warrenty at some point in time they ll come to know by the weird kernel n build version (i think...)

will the downgrade brick my phone??so please tell me what should i do??...and if i should downgrade the kernel n the base band to match the build version

I always thought rooting automatically voids your warranty... I could be wrong though.

KE/KF firmwares are all Android 2.3.3-based so mismatched kernels don't seem to cause many issues. If everything still seems to be working then it probably is.

@gretho about the warrenty when i return the phone ill just unroot it n remove the custom rom flash count by using the usb jig.
