Root [CDMA] Phones dies after full root help

I did the full root couldnt get the cwm to install i opted to do the twrp instead got that going and phone is fully rooted and s-off with recovery however when i turned it back on the battery indicator said only 10%. I thought i saw something about this somewhere but couldnt find it again. Even tho it said this i fugured the battery had a full charge so it would stay on anyway but when it reached 0% phone shut down and wont stay on now unless its plugged in what do i do to fix this i need my phone to work when its not plugged in lol. Im not sure im posting this in the right way/place please forgive me if im not but ive searched and found nothing about this yet. Please direct me in the right direction if its already posted and i missed it or if you know what to do please let me know how to remedy this. thanks!

Have you tried flashing clockworkmod instead of TWRP?

I was told the TEAM WIN had a buggy battery meter. maybe plug into an AC adapter and try it.

I used CWM first to get my nandroid before use TEAM WIN

I have twrp and am not experiencing the battery status issue. I have rebooted my phone several times with no problems. I wonder if those who have it maybe had low battery to begin with and for some reason that setting got stuck. I am able to fully charge and my indicator is accurate. Just a thought.

I mean that the battery % inside TEAM WIN Recovery is buggy. Like when you are actually viewing the recovery screen. Mine said it was 100% and it was certainly not. others have said this too

Idk, I just took my phone off the charger and went into recovery and it showed my battery at 99%. I guess I'm never in recovery long enough for that to be an issue and before I do anything I make sure I have plenty of battery beforehand. Just my experience.

Could be the version of TWRP causing the inconsistency in battery reading? I had 1.0.0, and I know they've released 2 updates since then. On 1.0.0, mine was reading 10% no matter what the real battery level was.

Edit: Something totally different, disregard. But for FYI:

You guys don't do a battery stats reset after a ROM replacement? That was procedure for my last phone. Install ROM > Charge to full > disconnect USB and leave USB disconnected > boot to CWM > Wipe batt stats > boot phone > let phone drain until it shuts itself off > charge until full (while off)

I am brave enough to admit that I have never done that...didn't realize I needed to, and this ain't my first rodeo. Glad to have learned something new.

I misread the thread. But that is something we would do when we thought our batteries were dying too quickly after doing something major to the phone (installing a new ROM qualified). The battery doesn't necessarily die faster, but Android tracks it oddly and gives false readings. After installing a ROM on my DX, my battery would go from 100 to 20 within 8 hours or so of moderate use, then slowly tick down from 20 to 5 with moderate to heavy use. Then, after a full recharge, the drop from 100 to 20 was normal.

That issue is different than this issue discussed here, it seems, but looked related at first glance. Also, it's something to try.

No worries! As you can see, I spend too much time on here when I should be (in my employer's opinion) working and I am always open to suggestions

i am so not familar with the terminology or rooting itself. but I rooted my phone successfully achieved it. Have 'setcpu' installed and turn my battery frequency to lowest hertz, and powersave mode. But i have trouble with losing battery so quick and losing batter on charge as well.
What could the problem or how to fix it?
Or I'm going to have to unroot or get new phone if that doesnt work.
