Root {ROM}[Pure Gingerbread]OMGB 1.2.2{2.3.5}

I must say, I have been bouncing around between OMFGB, CM7 and MIUI. I like them all, but when it comes down to it, I am a minimalist and want my phone to be fast and functional. A little bit of flare is fine, but just a bit.

I decided to give OMGB a try. I have been using it now for a little over 24 hours and think this is the ROM I will stick with until I retire my X. It's fast, functional and has "OK" battery life (better than CM7)

So in terms of battery life, would you say it's about equal or is it better than OMFGB, enough to flash it for that reason? Could you customize the battery stuff like percentage etc on OMGB?

Honestly, battery life is still not great, but it's definitely the best between CM7, MIUI and OMFGB in my opinion.

It does not have battery % in the status bar. You can however apply themes through the theme chooser just like on CM7. CM7 themes work perfectly.

Hope this helps. I will post some screen shots later tonight

Really liking this ROM, Kind of reminds me of Fission, being 100% stock, but on GB source!

One thing I've noticed in my App Drawer, I seem to have 2 Car Home icons, anyone else have this?

Mine showed 102% and 4200mV when I wiped stats after my install this morning.
Mine showed 103%, the second I calibrated it and disconnected my phone from the charger it shot right down to 100%, then 99..etc, it seems to be nothing more than a bug.

I agree, I don't think that the 103% is the battery actually overcharging which was some people's fear. It just isn't reporting correctly for some reason when charging. Probably because 4200mV is actually more than the battery stores..... but that is a whole other game about batteries and charging and voltage.. lol
