Clock position? Has no effect

In Setting, Display, screen display there is an option under lock screen for clock position, which can be set to top,middle or bottom.

No matter how I set this, my clock always shows at the top of the screen when the lock screen is active.

Am I missing the point here?

hmm.. mine's always on the bottom.. and changes when i adjust that setting.

Have you rebooted lately. A battery pull might fix it. I can move my closk at will.

clock position is for lock screen clock only, not ur phone clock

I seem to think that setting is relevant to the swype to the side type lock screen where the clock is the main point of that screen. If the lock screen you are talking about is the one where you type a code into it then you will only have the clock in the notifications bar! Hope that makes sense!
