for those that may not know,an RUU is actually HTCs Rom Updater Utility. it is an .exe file that when ran, runs software to update and flash new firmware to your HTC device. we tend to use the term "RUU" to describe als PG05IMG files installed in hboot, but this is where the term actually came from.

this latest leak is .exe,RUU format. for sh*ts and giggles i ran the RUU and updated myself from 1.07.605.0 to 2.10.605.1(rumored to be MR3)

anyway,at the end of it i was still revolutionary s-off(soooo snuggly :p) and all i had to was flash recovery, then superuser. im getting really tired of sense but ill run this build for a day and see if its any better.

heres basically what it looks like, for anyone interested:

this is whats going on on the phone during the update:

DISCLAIMER: do not run this unless you have allready flashed the permanent patch hboot. otherwise, you will be s-on with the new 1.05.0000 hboot, and will have to re-root it to get back to s-off.

what do people mean when they say "voicemail doesnt work on GB sense roms" ? are they talking about the notification prollem? this is most certainly an issue,as you get no notifications until you reboot, and then you cant git rid of them until you reboot again. no one has left me any voicemails on this yet,but from what ive read its still got that issue.

or are people refering to visual voicemail? this i cant comment on,as i dont use it.

i assume its the first thing,as every GB sense rom ive ever run people can leave me voicemails and i can listen to them. its just the notifications are screwed up.
