If they keep it overall close to size as the current 4.3 then i may get it otherwise I will go another route since the phones are big enough as they are.

I think that will be the case as ICS has software keys at the bottom of screen. So they can shave off some bezel space on the bottom, keeping overall size close to current 4.3" phones.

Yeah I'm thinking all this talk of 4.65" screens is likely misleading; I somehow doubt the actual usable screen will be that big. If so, at least keep it in a chassis the same size as the 4.3" phones. My Thunderbolt is pushing the limits of ergonomics.

It is. The extra .3 inches are from Ice Cream Sandwich.

I highly doubt it's a bigger phone than bionic/thunderbolt/sgs2.

Please I hope not! I do hope it will be the same as a 4.3" as the Bionic seems just unwieldy to me.

When factoring in the buttons on the bottom of the screen, is the usable portion of the screen (i.e. above the buttons) likely to be the same, more or less than on a 4.3" screen?

About that, not counting the notification bar. But in MOVIE mode and TV viewing, the buttons should disappear until called up. It's gonna be an epic screen!

Please I hope not! I do hope it will be the same as a 4.3" as the Bionic seems just unwieldy to me.

I dont think it will be as long as the bionic but its also a bit more ergonomic with the curve. So that size might not be so bad.

It would be pointless to have a bigger screen but not being able to use it. I don't think google/samsung would be that dumb.

4.65 is big enough but I think the practical is more important
