Time Setting with Tasker?

I setup a Tasker Command to Turn Wifi On when certain Apps are Started and then Turn Off when App is Closed. Is there a way to Delay the App from Starting say 5-10 sec so WiFi can come on before the App Starts?

Thanks

Long press home screen -> Tasker widget -> task -> + -> Net -> Wifi -> set on....

then + again -> tasker -> wait -> (choose time).... then

-> + again -> app -> Load app -> choose app

Just remember when selecting this widget there will be a delay before the app opens and you will not see any change while waiting. You will have to set this up for each app that you want this delay for.

If you need a notification during the delay and can't figure out how to set that up just ask.

Thanks for the detailed reply. So I can't just edit the Profile I have already created? I need to dump it and make New Task using what you told me? I have about 15 Apps that I want to have WiFi access,do I need to make a Widget for each one or is there a way to make one Profile like I have already done that has the Multiple Apps in it and have the 5 second delay included for all?

Doing it with a delay before the app launches I am pretty sure you have to create a separate widget for each app

I don't understand so, you go to your home screen, launch tasker, and make a task. In my turn on gps, delay for 1 second, then load navigation. I've saved the task and gave it a name. now how am I suppose to launch it. I though you actually create a widget shortcut for the application. I think I'm still missing something.

Follow the directions literally.

Go to the home screen, find a blank space and press and hold. Then follow the directions above. Nobody said you should launch Tasker first.

Finally got it...yahoo!! took a while to get my head around it. Basically created a tasker widget, changed it's icon, and set it to launch navigation app with a delay. Awesome! Thanks for your help

Edit * Spoke too soon, it is still a widget though, and it only works on the initial launch.
1. When I launch the widget, it works fine.
2. Then I go to the home screen, turn off the GPS.
3. I hold home screen and reopen navigation from the list of recent apps.
4. Since the app is called upon and not the widget, the gps turn on delay no longer works... arrr
