Help photo as wallpaper on homescreen only?

Thats normal for android phones. Its to make sure that the photo used for a wallpaper will cover the screen from top to bottom without distortion. If the photo you are selecting is too wide for the resolution of one screen alone to use in fullscreen view, then it will be spread as a scrollable wallpaper. If this wasnt being done, then there will be black areas with no wallpaper to the top and bottom part of the screen.

Thanks for that. Sorry for my ignorance but what is firmware?

Greetings rubso,

Firmware is like the operating system for your phone. Like sort of windows XP..Vista.. The higher the number, the more features or corrections it brings. Well sometimes it brings more headaches, lol.

As for you first question, download a app called multipicture live wallpaper. With it, you can set a different wallpaper to each screen if you wish.

Hope this helps
