Root Bricked?

Hmm.. may have bricked my Desire. Any help greatly appreciated.

Was running RCMIXHD, with several partitions on my SD created by following instructions from their xda page.

Was planning to change to LeeDroid today, and went to create a standard A2SD FAT32 and EXT3 partition, deleting the current partitions in the meantime... oops, now have no way of booting back into RCMIXHD and CWM recovery is not working either. Only backed up the FAT32 data from the original partition.

Any chance I can reflash recovery from here using unrevoked perhaps? Or any other advice?

Cheers

Dave

Hey SUroot,

I was s-on. Not sure if I ever backed up RCMIXHD once I put it on... haven't tinkered with it since until now.

No fastboot enabled.

Hmmm.. looking further I think maybe I had D2EXT set up. My card was partitioned with FAT32, 2 x EXT partitions and some swap - before I reformatted it that is. Sounds like the RCMIXHD recommendation for D2EXT here: D2EXT version - Fat + Ext4 + Ext4 + Swap (fat+1GB+0.3GB+0.1GB) recommended.

What should my next steps be? If I can get back into recovery I'll just flash Leedroid..

Feeling pretty noobish about now!
