alright havent posted here much but since i left xda i feel the need for others to enjoy my work.... this rom is built from a port of the new OS from HTC Runneymede. it has new SENSE 3.5 AND GINGERBREAD 2.3.5. VERY STABLE AND VERY FAST. now there are a lot of cool features inside in the settings menu im not going to name what all there is you will have to flash to findout, but trust me its mind blowing.... i wont be checking here for bugs but feel free to use the thread for convos and such. if you need to report a bug go to my site that i link below.....

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I believe the Tiamat kernels are AOSP and won't work with sense. I think there are a few sense kernels over at XDA forums tho.

I ran Tiamat on Virtuous Unity with no problems. Of course I was experimenting, but it was still stable. I ask because I'm comfortable around 1700mhz and CPU Master doesn't have any decent governors.

I've been running this since the beta version, and it is fast and stable.
Battery live is terrific.

I agree. This ROM is smooth and fast.
I had a couple FCs of random apps and a couple Sense crashes in the beginning, but that seemed to have leveled out. Haven't had a FC or crash in quite a bit now.

One Question:
I am not familiar with the changes facebook made recently, but now HTC is asking for validation and permissions to post in ways I don't remember seeing before ("Allow HTC Sense to post as me"?! WTF?)
I keep getting a notification inthe pull-down. Anyone know how to stop it?

Yea, I wish I could just remove Facebook and Twitter. There's no option to uninstall.

Also, has anyone had problem loading icons on the Quick Launch widget? The text shows up, but not the corresponding icon.

And, how do you activate the CRT lock screen? I've tried checking, unchecking, vice versa, etc and still doesn't work.

CRT is not active on the ROM, Newt did not include it

If you download screen off and lock (free app from the market) it will give you the crt lockscreen animation. Just select old TV from the long animations list. It also has lockscreen lock and unlock sounds if you are into that.
Just create the directory media/audio/notifications and put the sounds in there to use them. Or hey, y'all got root, just put them in the root system folder under the same directory. This app will also help your power button from breaking early.

Newt, thank you so much for all of the roms I've been running your roms since the first one. I was used to asop roms but once I got on yours that all changed. Well, I think there are a couple of problems.

1. I don't seem to be able to get any HTC widgets. That is, when I go to "Add Widget" in the personalize section, and select "Browse all HTC widgets" I get nothing.
2. Also I don't get the HTC quick launcher (perhaps going along with #1)
3. I still have the old Android Market. I would have thought I would have gotten the new one.
4. In the camera app, after applying an effect, I get some very strange purple, green, and black imagery on the top 1/3 of the screen. Makes any effects pretty much unusable as near as I can tell.

I dunno. I feel like this ROM has the potential to be pretty cool, but there are still some quirks.

I guess you're right about them going along with each other. I don't have an option to log into HTC HUB and here's what my Quick Launch screen looks like. It works, but there are no icons. When you set it up, you have to click on the left side of the screen where nothing is and add apps. It looks decent with just text, but I do like full functionality. All in all, it's a great ROM though.

It's chewing up my battery like crazy too. I've checked, and rechecked the settings. And I rebooted the phone this morning. Not sure what's going on, but that, for me, is a deal breaker.

Sounds like a bad install. I would try again before giving up on this one. I'm enjoying it.
