Can anyone reccomend a good screen protector, Money No Object? HAHA

Also, I cannot seem to get my battery to charge to 100%, only gets to 99%....any thoughts? I charged it fully, disconnected when instructed, checked the status, and it was only 99%. I reconnected to charger, and it charged for another 2 mins, beeped again saying it was complete, and still, 99%, WTF?

Many thanks to all for your advice on both aforementioned issues!!

This phone is made with gorilla glass. It does NOT need a screen protector. Don't use one. A case, yes, if you want to give this phone some good "weight". I recommend tpu-cases.com cases for $9.

Here's why you dont need a screen protector:

Htc evo scratch test with razor blade - YouTube

As for battery, dont worry about it. Its likely a bug in how the % is being reported.

I care because I came from HTC EVO 4g where the battery was a huge F-ing issue, 1% made a big difference with that POS...pardon me for shelling out $300 and wanting to see 100% register on the phone after charging for 3 hours. You must be special where money doesn't matter, and it also doesn't matter if what you waste your money on doesn't work the way it is supposed to

thanks for your support and your feedback

I care because I came from HTC EVO 4g....

I know where you are coming from, as a previous Evo 4G owner myself. There is a mountain of difference between what my battery life has been between these two phones.

Take a look at my battery life and the postings above it for an overview of what you should and should not expect as far as battery life is concerned. http://androidforums.com/samsung-epic-4g-touch/415640-post-up-those-screens.html#post3271770

It's not the 1% that should be a concern, but how your overall life is throughout your day. Keep an eye on the battery after every app you download. There are some apps out there that suck battery and can make a real difference on how you enjoy your phone.

Oh, and the screen protector is a personal choice. I have never used one since my first HTC Touch. On the other hand, there are people who carry sand in their pockets who might need some protection.

Thank you for this....I am getting 24+ hours so far...obviously I am not using the phone for 24 hours....but what a difference so far compared to ~8 hours on the evo....
