I got mine at the end of November, I'm getting it at Christmas but the sales guy said I have to set it up or it won't be covered in the returns (? I doubt it) anyway seems good, but mine looks nicer than yours! Mine is black, and the keyboard is black not bronze, and behind the keyboard is glossy black. The call/end buttons are white, so it matches the others. I think that this looks better tbh (I'm british so we have a different build, and we don't have the squeaky screen, and ours launched black or white, where yours was bronze or black then white came along. I think the white one looks cheap, and the bronze looks weird.)

Finally. After a 1 day delay on UPS' behalf, my girlfriend and I finally got our G1s today. Loving it a ton so far. Posting from it now.

I just got mine about 7 hours ago. This is soo cool! The charger in the box doesn't fit the phone! I'll have to use the usb cable to charge it.
I notice that seido lists the same charger as the blackberry, the G1's connector is different from the BB.

Mine was delivered 1 day before the official launch date (I think I received it October 22). My girlfriend is waiting for the White one to become available before she picks hers up. We called T-Mobile but they said the white G1s won't be available until early this year.

you better call them and make sure or if it was ups check your door see if they left it or a note half the time they don't even knock... trust me this time of year packages are stolen constantly...

Was an T-mob member for about a month with a G1 but switched back to ATT, then bought a G1 locked, and still waiting for an unlock code from the person I bought it from or will have a friend with t-mob call for me.

So pretty much a useless paper weight right now. It was cool when I did own one for a day the last time though.

No I don't want to pay for an unlock code either. People are dumb to do that.

Ok I got mine today and I have been playing with it for most of the day. I was a little upset that the email trash not deleting issue was not fixed in the RC9 UK OTA update. Oh well, I suppose other than that, the only other thing that got on my nerves is the multi delete issue.

Is there any app out there that lets you delete multiple email messages all in one go?

There was one in the market yesterday ... but it seems to have been removed ... it might have been malicious in nature ... and was deleting more than what was desired ...

Hi i'm also from the UK and can confirm that we are not all as unpleasant as the above member!

Anyways, had my G1 now for 2 weeks and i'm loving it!

I registered to say I got my G1 today via UPS overnight. I was sad that it may have not come today because UPS says it was delayed because of issues with the plane. It still came though and I've been loading apps all night.

I got my G1 yesterday after trading my ibook g3 for it. I got to play around with for about a couple of hours. I turn on the dam pattern login thing and got my g1 stuck at the login screen. I just got off the phone with tmobile to activate my phone with the data plan and now playing the waiting game. 2hrs-48hrs !!! I can't wait that long. My first impression is that the phone is really cool and can't wait to play around with the code.

Wow, as a long-time user of those dreaded "free phones" I finally bit the bullet and purchased the G1 a while ago. When it came, I was in complete awe with the god graced piece of technology...I never expected such raw power and beauty in such a sleek package.
