Root Custom Rom for s5570 ?

Yes there are custom roms for galaxy pop. Two main ( and famous) roms are Andro-id, based on gingerbread 2.3.4 and Cyanogenmod 7 based on gingerbread 2.3.5 rom.

hello all,

i heard that gingerbread 2.3.5 is nw available, however i tried to flash my s5570 (android 2.3.4) to android 2.3.5 and it crashed the phone.

the files available on net is not at all genuine... please give me the link for right files to get downloaded and also the instructions.....

It is official for only some region --which I don't remember-- But, if you are from India it is not official firmware. but you can however flash it. Also, it is not needed to root your phone to flash 2.3.5

hello what you say is exactly rite. my phone is adroid 2.3.4..i also checked in about phone settings..i too dowloaded the files for android 2.3.5 (S5570XWKS7_S5570OXXKS2_S5570XWKS2_HOME.tar.md5)...and the odin says that there is a file mismatch..iam in india...do i need to flash it first with filesAPBOOT_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_tru e.tar .md5 goes into BOOT-MODEM_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02.tar.md5 goes to PHONE-CODE_S5570XXKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.m d5 goes to PDA-and CSC_S5570SERKPI_CL260130_REV02_user_low_true.tar.m d5 and then to go for one package.....please reply

No need to flash one package....

There are two ways of flashing one using One package that have all files inside a tar file and other is as above replacing each file manually..... They are almost same thing (falshing new firmware)


I think you should wipe and data and cache after flashing

THis is what you do
Open Odin...
Load Tass.ops file in OPS and other four files in respective place (as you have said above)
Leave remaining fields blank or as they are..
DOn't Check One Package Option
Connect your phone in download mode to PC
When ODin recognized press Start and let it finish..
After finishing disconnect your phone and wipe data and cache in recovery...

hello i have successfully loaded the phone with android 2.3.5 however,it does not reflect the advantages of android 2.3.5..the battery does not last long and it dries out very quickly when comparedto android 2.3.4....any updates for this..or is that a bug or known issue...
