I have an HTC Droid Eris and like the phone (yeah, I know a bit 'underpowered' and all that) and like Sense. Saw the Rezound at Best Buy yesterday and really liked it (screen was awesome and it really does fit in my hand much more comfortably than the Droid RAZR). So it is now my first choice. With my ERIS the battery is a huge issue - both how quickly it drains and how long it takes to charge. So I'm wondering - how does the Rezound do on charging?? If you can find a charging spot for 30 minutes does it do any good? How long does it take to fully charge?

BTW - This is an awesome place to hang out.

Thanks for asking this because I've found it to be a big plus...

From 0% to 100% it only takes about 1.5 hours! So, theoretically, in your 30mins on a charge example, it should add back 33% battery.

Worth stating that is in a wall outlet (though i think it is more like 2 to 3 hours)

charging in a computer is WAY slower. But yes, if you plug in for 30 minutes you should get a good bit of juice back, try not to use phone while its charging (it will charge faster)

I can't really improve upon the advice you've already received but I can tell you that "to me" it seems to charge very quickly. The rep at the Verizon store set my phone up for me(Gmail, myverizon, and etc.) right out of the box no charging or anything. Then I played with it for a couple of hours and when it started getting really low I charged it. Well, you know how a new device seems to call to you so you always want to mess with it. I went back to it a short time later just to look at it and it was at 90%. I honestly thought something was wrong like the battery had been shortened because it wasn't charged at first but these batteries have no memory so it wasn't that. It just charged that fast. I would guess around and hour had passed. I played with it through the rest of the night until about 3AM. I hope this helps.

From dead to full it takes 3.5 hours....this is also what is stated on the USB cord. The first time I charged it I looked at the battery meter instead of going by the led indicator so it did not fully charge until the led turned green. Not too worried about the battery life, 1800mAh replacement for me next week.
