Authentic would be sweet - but there's a whole new "community" that is all about modding out the stock Android logo (yeah, the little robot). I mean - you're implicitly adding yourself to that new community by making an android t-shirt by yourself. Maybe I'll publish a set of android graphics that you can mix and match to make your own Android character, i.e., arms, the head, body, legs, and maybe some type of alien antennae or something. That way EVERYONE could have their OWN custom android avatar/t-shirt. Beauty.

Hmmmm. I wonder if Google would allow us to set up our own CafePress store and everyone can make a TON of freaking products with the Android Robot. All the proceeds would go towards our own contest that we could have for new Android Applications.

Its a farfetched, dreamy type of perfect world scenario but it could happen. The problem is, if we only raise 12 dollars, not too many people will be competing to make an app hehe.

Plus ADC2 is coming up. Nonetheless, let me see if I can touch base with someone from Google or something on this. Its an interesting idea. I'd like an Android T-Shirt, too... itd be pretty dope.

Why? Because they're never as cool as originals. Only lazy people say "that's whack."

Indeed, but has anyone got any reasonably priced means to create one-off t-shirts that last more than a few washes?

I used a company to print up a couple of my designs once and they lasted a few washes then cracked beyond all recognition

That'd be sweet, but I don't think Google would allow it. Sounds like a copyright violation, but I think it'd be worth someone doing some homework to find out =)
