I'll get this phone I guess when it comes. In the meantime, man, the Asus Transformer Prime, will easily replace my laptop when I get the money. It's a shame it can't be used as a device to build apps on. Cause the prime is extra sweet. I know its off topic, but man, the video here: Asus Transformer Prime TF201 Review - YouTube shows the beast of android 3.2, and what prime will be like on 4.0. Would love to have this and the nexus as well.

Those are actually the same exact earbuds I got with my Galaxy Tab 10.1, with the exception of the inline remote being a little different.

For what it's worth, for free in-the-box earbuds they aren't bad at all. MUCH better than anything Apple gives you in the box. And this is coming from an audio engineer

EDIT: Actually, looking closer at it, those are the EXACT same buds I got with the Tab. Cool!

Ear buds don't fit in my apparent oddly shaped ears...I got a 60 dollar pair of Sony canal-ear buds with 10 different sized attachments, and none of them stayed in my ears. And those are the canal buds! The regular ones like the iSheep, forget it, they pop out every 3 seconds. I have to look like a doofus and get massive over ear phones unfortunately.

Let's nip this in the bud now. The store is called "A Wireless", which is a premium re-seller, NOT a VZW corporate store. They're able to just print out any price for any imaginary unit they want to "pre-order". It's not a true pre-order.

I'm not saying the guy who ordered it like that won't get it, but there's no release timing information we can glean from it. All they're basically saying is that at whatever point in time in the future the SGN is released, you'll get yours from us. One of our folks in this thread actually did the same thing with a different retailer. I think it was sweatyBeef.

I'm not sure if this has been posted yet since I am still heavily medicated and laying in my hospital bed, but I will give it a shot. I found Amazon has their Skinomi screen protectors for sale for the SGN. I would think it will fit the Verizon version since only the back is different. Anyways, I figured for a $3.39 I couldn't go wrong! Here is a link for anyone who wants one.

Well I just got back from my VZW store and picked up a Rezound as a loaner. While going through my upgrade process I heard the two others next to me as well only get the standard spill on the 14 day return policy.

I wasn't in the mood to argue with the sales rep over their return policy, but can anyone confirm that even if they TOLD you 14 days, we will have until January 15th to return?

The article did say that the "guy" who ordered it said that the store said that the phone will release on Monday, which is the 28th. Keep optimism and hope alive.

I'm not quite ready to give in to the Dec. 8th release date rumor just yet until November is over.

I wasn't in the mood to argue with the sales rep over their return policy, but can anyone confirm that even if they TOLD you 14 days, we will have until January 15th to return?

No one's going to be able to confirm that until they try to take it back past the 14 day return period, which you won't see until the SGN is released. Everything else people have stated is second-hand from CSRs, who are all giving conflicting answers.

Your best bet would have been to talk/argue with them regarding it. At least then you'll know if you have to fight for it when you try to bring it back past the 14 days.

depends who you talk to. a friend of mine who works at the local vzw corporate store stands firm that the return policy only allows for return of phones that have not been activated(something bought as a gift), and that regular purchase and activations are still subject to the 14 day return window

I took a look at the "Galaxy Nexus: Getting Started" videos on YouTube. They have one for both the US and International versions of the phone. The US version has a different looking battery and the Verizon logo on the back, so I think it is fairly safe to assume that it is LTE.

Both versions look pretty much the same to me color-wise. Although the silver edging is much less pronounced than previous GSM version pictures.

I did the best I could to capture screenshots of the phones from a side view. The images aren't perfectly clear due to the speed in which they turned around the phone, but I think we can get a decent idea from them. I also tried to overlay the two images. The angle wasn't exactly the same though so it makes the US version look bigger than I think it actually is.

I am curious though how this will effect you getting a GNex if they do a web only presale. Will you have to pay full price and then eventually credit your account?

We don't really know about the LTE version yet. It might be the same however.

On the Inc we have "audio boost" kernels (even though the Inc doesn't need an audio boost imo) so it is on the kernel level? I'm not knowledgeable enough to answer, but I know some here are.

So my educated guess is a YES to your question, maybe not initially, but eventually we will have that option if the volume level is not enough to satisfy.

November 28th is close. 5 days away and still nothing. I hope that's the day :/
