Has anyone registered on HTCdev to root via the HTC method? I've attempted to register using two different email addresses and never receive the activation email. I've also sent an email to their support and haven't received a response?

How long did the registration process take you?

Did you check your spam folder? While I haven't used the HTC method, plenty have. It does work.

Yes, I did check the spam folder. For whatever reason it isn't working. I've now tried three different email accounts. I get nothing. Huge downer, as I was hoping to get my phone rooted today.

Have you tried to contact HTC support, maybe their website is does for that process.

I am having the same trouble you are. I would like to do this finally and now i actually want to, I can't.

For those of you still in this situation, I'll explain how I finally got my HTCdev membership activated.

Strangely, no one ever responded to my support requests. I turned to Twitter for help. I direct messaged @HTCdev and he pulled some strings to get me activated. In the end, I didn't get the activation email until long after he'd activated my account.

If you're still having this problem, I'd recommend you direct message him on Twitter.
