Folks,
I'm pretty much 100% on going Android this year, I'm ready to upgrade right now. The iPhone next gen may swing me but I personally prefer the open architecture of Android. The Palm Pre looks really good too but I'm not 100% on how popular it will be with 3rd parties.
Thing is all the phones are not ticking my boxes. I'm UK based for reference.
The G1 is OK but far, far too large for me. And no 3.5mm
The HTC Magic is actually quite nice, good size. Alas it's on voda (so a no for me) and again, no 3.5mm jack.
So we come to the Sammy i7500; well it's ticking most boxes for me when it comes to size and 3.5mm jack goodness but that design? it's sooooo samsung 2001, looks pretty bad to me. And a clicky d-pad in preference to a decent rollerball / optical pad? what are they thinking?
So my question - are there any other android handsets set for UK release this year? I'm pretty sure I'm up to date on my news but just wondered if someone had seen anything I'd missed?
