What case (or other accessories) do you have?

I'm hoping that JavoEdge comes out with a case for the Prime. I've tried that rooCase when I had a Galaxy Tab and it was flimsy. Plus the leather around the edge of the screen always got in the way when I had to touch along the edges of the screen. (Mainly using the Quick Controls for the browser)
The Javo edge cradles the tablet from the back and allows for rotation of 360 degrees when standing it upright.

This is what I have ordered for my Prime/dock:

Crater Sleeve for MacBook Air - Timbuk2 Bags

Timbuk2 stuff is a little spendy, but it's good quality, and I already have two of their bags. I'm a sucker for brand consistency. :D

I'm just wondering how the fit will be with some of these... not sure whether to buy something with storing the tab + keyboard in mind, or just the tablet. Hrmph... I wouldn't mind something simple like this, but I think it might have too much free room inside:

Amazon.com: Belkin 10 inch Netbook Laptop Sleeve - Fits Apple iPad (80-8215): Electronics

(The early amazon reviews on the orgami cover are a little disappointing... I had high hopes for that cover).

EDIT: I was wondering if ipad2 covers would work, but I'm guessing most won't since the ipad2 is about 20mm shorter (in height)... while being slightly wider and deeper than the prime.

Oh, great! I just received that the other day before anyone had any reviews on there. I dont get the tablet til thursday so I at least have prior knowledge that this thing is scratching the prime up. Might see about sending it back to Amazon

Yeah, it sort of scared me away. I'm leaning toward an envelope sleeve for the tablet + messenger bag that will take the envelope + accessories (not sure if it will fit the keyboard too... will have to see I guess. Maybe I should just be patient and get stuff that's made for prime when it comes out. :p

I really like that on the timbuktu website you can enter your own dimensions (I entered the prime dimensions from the asus website). It then tells you what bags will fit... though there is still the question of how loose it will be.

EDIT: The only thing that approach would leave out for me would be the option of a stand / kickstand (which the folding cover does)... not sure what options I would have for that, but I've seen ipad's in use with their cover and its pretty darn useful when watching movies on a plane / etc...

I actually just bought this one. The reviews on all their other cases, including the original Transformer are excellent, so it seems like a safe buy. Ill let you all know my thoughts and take some pictures once it arrives.

how about screen protectors to aid against scratches, finger print reduction would be a bonus!
I have a Skinomi TechSkin on my Viewsonic G-Tablet, and I'll probably end up getting one for my Prime as well. They're well worth the $20 or so that they cost. They're pretty much indestructible, and they don't show fingerprints very much, either.

That's what I was just talking about in my post above yours. They're great. My only concern with the cover for the back is how it would work with the keyboard dock. Their covers are pretty thin, but I would hate for the dock to scrape up the edge of the skin.

Also, with the spun aluminum on the back, I was wondering how well it would cover?

If anything, I would think that the bit of texture would help the skin stick. Skinomi has pretty heavy-duty adhesive for their skins, so I really don't think that there would be any issues with the skins sticking to the back.

Are we limited to just Prime covers or will the first gen transformer covers work. I'm mainly looking for a sleeve. I dont want to cover the beauty of the prime.

great question! I can say that I have noth the tf101 and tf201 here in front of me now, there is def a size difference, but not by much maybe an inch? I wonder same question as you

passing on a cover or sleeve. i just put it in the laptop compartment of my office bag.

as for accessories, i've picked up a 32 gb microSD card to keep movies on rather than using up the space on the tablet. i'm keeping my music saved on the tablet. probably going to pick another microSD card for work, to keep pdf copies of construction drawings on so that when i am out in the field i have the set of drawings right there on my tablet.

Just got mine today and want a case right away so I went with this one since it seems to be the only one in stock right now at Amazon. Got a amazon gift card and a prime member so Amazon was my only choice. Also ordered a cheap microHDMI to HDMI cable for when I travel.

Can't believe I missed that one. Would love to hear what you think of it once you get some hands on time. That might be my option B if the one i purchased fails.

Don't care for the skinomi brand at all. Have tried many and have become somewhat proficient at installing screen protectors and the skinomi I bought for my Droid Charge look like a pile of dog doodoo when I was done. Using a Zagg now and although a little orange peely, still looks good. No Zagg out for the prime yet. Will probably just buy an inexpensive sleeve, for my prime until there's better accessories on the market!

I just picked up one of these at Sears for $39.00.
It's nice. The cable is flexible not like the cables you used to connect a Blu-Ray player etc. It even comes with a nice little case.
