Root problem theming phone.apk

the icon is in contacts.apk

is it called the same thing?
and how do i edit the .zip show it can say what i want it to and not WP7 bye bloodawn lol

aww man i guess there is a xml file somewhere that keeps changing it back to the regular phone, do you know if that is correct?

nah. you can open it with notepad++

your icon is named ic_launcher_phone.png right? you put it in drawable-mdpi? if you did both of those then it should work

yeah its named that and i delete the green one and change it for mine and close when i reopen its green again?

when you opened what? how are you doing this?

are you adding the icon while its decompiled with apk manager then you recompile it and the icon didn't change? if so its cause your not deleting the old icon from the keep folder during the compile

if all you want to do is add the icon just use 7zip and drag and drop the icon to the folder in the apk

Im using 7zip but i guess the file was corupt because i just deleted the contacts.apk and started over and it seems to work so far im about to flash it.

i opened updater-script with notepad++ but it wont let me edit anything, is it locked some how, sorry for having so many questions
