Help calender sync ?

If i add an appointment or event to the calender on my moto atrix and i go to accounts, gmail, calender, sync. it does not update the google calender. but if i add an event to the google calender, then hit updat on my phone it does add it.
should that be correct ? the google calender can update the droid, but not the other way around ?

Which Atrix to you have, the 4G or the 2?

i have the 4g. no matter what i do. the google calender wont sync both ways.

And now that I have - it finally hit me. I have an HTC and about 6 months back I found no end of trouble with their stock calendar app - and I used to really love the HTC calendar.

Anyway - I've switched to Business Calendar Free by Appgenix Software Free, free in the Market. I _really_ love this one and haven't looked back.

I've configured a number of personal and work calendars on Google, can set appointments on my phone or PC and they show up on both.

If the Atrix owners here don't have the right answer for you, maybe checking out that app will help.

Under account settings, make sure that you have "calendar" checked for syncing. This should fix your problem. (Make sure you check this for all email accounts that you need cal. sync.)
