i was on plague kernel before on gingersteem and my phone could only go to 1.5 GHz anything higher and it would restart. now i just updated to plague extreme and my phone went up to 1.8ghz with no reboots. i didn't try 1.9 or 2.0 GHz yet, but im really happy i can break over 1.5ghz now. THANKS all developers and especially PlayfulGod.

anyone else experience this, all comments welcome !!!!!!!!:):):):)

;) Any ideas as to why when the kernel is maxed the phone crashes?

I have the same prob to? crashes at 1.9g & 2.0g.. ?

Mines been doing the same lately.. At the beguinning was running fine after 1 day it just handles 1.9ghz...when i go to 2.0 it reboots..???? anyway im good at 1.9

the CPU was sold to LG as a 1GHz CPU, although Qualcomm says it can run at 1.2GHz. It's only guaranteed to run stable at 1.0 GHz in this phone. Anything over that is gravy.

It's like a car -- say a stock 2011 Hyundai Accent. Of course, it's guaranteed at interstate speeds, say 75-80 mph. Will it run 100 mph? Sure. Will it run 130 mph? Top speed on the engine is supposed to be about 119 mph. Depending on your luck you might squeeze out numbers above that. You might get 125 - 130 mph, the next guy that bought one might not. His engine might blow up. Since the car was never guaranteed to run at 130mph, no one can complain.

Giving thanks to Gb and PG. My ZVC is all rooted. When we tinker with equipment like this we are bound to have failures. I haven't had any symptoms after the mod whatsoever. The phone backs up itself then to my FTP server on a schedule. I'm running 1.8g most of the time. I run SAMBA to explore my phone from my network. I've reviewed just about every app on the market..(hehehehhehehe) Now I'm beginning to learn the basics about the phone. Life is good. I only wish that app builders would program to toggle on and off the services and hardware they require to run. (some do with the GPS but not with data and wifi) I manually have a dashboard widget thingy to do that with the Switch Pro app. Texting is mostly done with the voice to recognition keyboard button. It types with less errors than I do.

So who has the best phone on the market???? We do!!!!!! :D
