I had to use the RSD Lite to get my phone to stock :(

I upgraded to the .901 update without knowing you can't root it yet. I've tried going back to .893 but I get an error with cdt.bin. (thank God for the .901 cdt.bin fix)

Does anyone here know anything about reverting or rooting .901?

Ok, so I get the phone in Fastboot. I then run the cdt.bin fix and reboot back into Fastboot then run RSD Lite to get back .893 stock rom. Still fails at step 6.

I've tried starting RSD Lite first then rebooting when it fails and run the fix, then try try running RSD Lite again and still no luck.

Do I run the .901 cdt.bin fix before or after I flash back to .893 with RSD Lite?

I stupidly "upgraded" to .901 and I'm trying to get to .893 to root it, then upgrade to .901.

After. You run the flash first that replaces everything with the old 5.5.893 stuff, and then it gives youa boot error, whereupon you go back and flash the cdt.bin - and then it boots normally into 5.5.893.

Then root, 43v3r r00t, then apply 901 again.

Also, note:

I Highly Recommend that you reboot between each step so that you can verify what is actually happening, except between rooting and 43v3r rooting, that is really not necessary.

I am trying to find the link now but I believe when you flash the 5.5.893 fxz file it will say flash failure cdt.bin something or other. You are then going to have to push the .901 cdt.bin file and boot up. As soon as I find the link I will post it.\

here is a thread with the files you need to get .901 with root.thread

this puts you in the middle of the thread, scroll down till you see post #39 and start from there. Also read the op before you do anything.
