Exchange Android apps? Android P2P?

I've got some questions about a possible Android weak point:

1. What makes it impossible to exchange applications between Android phones? Can't they be cracked? If so, what's the use of Android Market?
And don't tell me that this is illegal .

2. Would an Android based P2P application be accepted in the Android Market?

The android market makes it simple to load apps on to an android phone, and the pricing functionality is only meant to encourage developers to put apps up. What you're talking about would probably be the equivalent of the music/film industry relative to p2p sites and programs. The music and film industries aren't put out of business by these programs, but they do suffer monetary losses.

I dont see the point of having a p2p app just for sharing apps, when you could just tell the person what the app is and they could go to the android market and download it themselves.

you could just transfer files via bluetooth, or a p2p cable (if they make such a thing for G1)

Well, you can argue the "who produced it" point (I'm a journalist; when I write something and it gets edited and distributed by a newspaper, who "produced" it? Mostly me, but not entirely.)

But you can't argue that taking stuff for free when the people selling it want you to pay for it--or at least look at ads--causes people to lose money. There's nothing theoretical about the financial losses

Yes, this is a separate thread, but it had to be said. Don't confuse "I like free stuff" with "I have a right to everything for free."

Most of the app's on the marketplace only cost a buck or two to pay for. If you really cant afford to pay for an app which donates money to the person who created it then thats really not right.

People spend time making these app's and if you dont wanna pay for it then dont even use it.
