Root Customize Lg Esteem

Any way to customize the lg Esteem like the I-Phone when Jail Broken. I wanna change the the overall look but I don't understand the difference between Roms, Kernels, and theme. Can it harm my phone and do i need some other application. My Phone is rooted and is on stock rom and its running ZVD, hope it helps!

PS: I see a link in here for a theme Ice Cream Kangwich - Theme. Any idea how to set it up?

Flash broken out 1.1 rom. Than flash lds theme lck ick test 11 over it. Make a back up first though! It won't harm ure phone unless you try to lol

PS if you don't have custom recovery. Download rom manager from the store. And flash the recovery.

k first welcome to af bro,and before moving forward make a backup of your current rom, u could make a back up with rom manager get that from playstore once u make a backup let us know then we can proceed forward

Yes start here.

It's great that people are telling you specific ROMs to flash and what not but I bet you have no clue as to what a Rom really is or a kernel etc....

So start at the top and work your way down. See what your options are and the differences in each one to find what's best for you. Everything related to our phone can be found in that link. All themes, ROMs, kernels, MODS, tools, etc........

Learn how your phone works and what a ROM really is and what a kernel really is, that way you have a grasp to what your doing from which will lessen the odds of messing your phone up.

Every post has very detailed directions in what you should do to get " " on your phone. So READ and follow directions carefully and you will not have any problems. And ALWAYS MAKE A BACKUP. Make 2. lol

You flash it the same way you flashed the ROM. Download it, put in root of your sd card, boot into recovery, install zip from sd, select the theme and flash it.

READ, as stated above, i went to the all things root guide, when i got my ascend, and read. then i got my esteem, even before i got it, i read, i read, and read.
when i had a question or i feared a brick, i searched. sometimes one word will come up with 50 million results.
