Keyboard Accuracy?

Is it just me, or has anyone else noticed that they're message typing skills have gone down with 2.1? I seem to get way more typos.

I seem to have noticed that the touchscreen accuracy has reduced with this build, so I think that's part of it, but I'm also wondering if the typing prediction isn't as good as 1.5 was? I just typing doong, meaning to get doing, but it didn't change it. In fact, of the options it did give me for that, "doing" wasn't one of them.

Is it just me being critical knowing it's a beta build, or is anyone else noticing these?

Oh, and I've already recalibrated the keyboard and the g-force.

I also notice that I'll hit things, buttons, icons, etc, and it won't respond unless I press and hold on them.

have you tried swype. i can not report my experiences with the stock keyboard and 2.1 because i got swype the day after i flashed the leak. swype is really working well for me. i will be happy to pay for it whenever it comes to market but until then the beta is free. you should try it.

Swype | Text Input for Screens i know at first it looks kinda weird and i was skeptical at first but it really does work well.
