Help seidio 3500 extended battery

i Debated for weeks about getting the extended battery and scoured the internet for reviews and pictures with not much found.. i finally took the plunge and spent the money and am very happy i did.. does it add extra bulk to the phone.. yes it does but its actually still comfortable in the hand.. if you have ever used the otter box case i think it adds about the same bulk.. the main thing is if you want to be able to leave wifi, 4g on all the time, play games and just use your phone in general all day 12+ hours and using your phone all day without worrying about battery life and being close to an outlet. then the little bit of extra bulk is worth it. i was very disappointed in battery life before i bought this and i actually love that i now can leave my 4g on and use my phone like it was intended instead of just a 300 dollar 3g phone

So I just bought and installed the battery. I let the battery charge to a full charge and let it stay on full charge for 2 hours because that is what it said to do. I am now using the phone and have seen 3% drop in about 30 min not seeming that much better than the other. Does the battery get better over time or does this have something to do with the stupid 4.0.4 update that I have seen no boost or positives for that matter? I was fine with the battery life before the update, but now it blows. I have heard I should see double battery life with the seidio is that true? Please help if you have had the battery and are running 4.0.4. Thanks

I bought two extra batteries and an external battery charger and I pretty much run each battery to 0% everytime, effectively power cycling each time. Of course each battery is then put on charge so I always have an extra battery with me. And now each battery goes on an average of 18 hours with medium usage my highest is 23 hours with light usage and on stock kernel 4.0.4 IMM67I

I flashed Black Ice Kangorade today and it seems more or less the same

I will be very disappointed if it is only 20 hours. I got 20 hours off the original battery with light use. I think google really messed something up with the second release of 4.0.4. I mean the seidio battery is double the size of the original battery so it should get about double the amount of time. I guess I will just wait as see. If anyone has any more advice for me please let me know.

I've heard bad things about the seidio batteries not living up to their capacity claims. However, the mugen 3900mah extended battery has received very good reviews from what I've seen with some people reporting 2 days of usage...a bit pricey at around 100 bucks tho

I am not sure if the seidio battery is to blame or Google and android. After the 2nd 4.0.4 my phones battery has really gone down. The seidio battery has added some time, but it seems it could be better. It seems like every time Google comes out with a new update the battery is the only thing they do not fix.

At the rate your battery will be exhausted in 16.5 hours. Why are you complaining?

16.5 hours for a battery this size is not that good. Those are good numbers for the OG battery the 1750mah, but for the extended that is garbage. But those stats don't matter any more any ways because I have now had the for a few more days and this thing is much better. I am going on day number 3 with out charging and I am as we speak at about 57% of battery life. Now I am not a heavy user so please don't expect this unless you don't use your phone that much my screen time right now is at about 2 hours. I don't have Facebook or any social network syncing in the back ground. I keep my screen at about 30% indoors and it goes to 100% outside. If you have any questions just let me know.
