Hi,

I'm running Cyanogenmod 7.1 on an HTC Desire.

MMS doesn't work, with the application just sitting on "Downloading" for ages

Current APN selected is O2 UK
APN: mobile.02.co.uk

Username: vertigo
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
APN Type: default,supl,mms

Do I have the right APN settings, or is this a Cyanogenmod issue?

I assume you're on contact. If so this works for me. You need to set up 2 apns to use O2 mms as below:

Name: o2 postpay
APN: wap.o2.co.uk
Proxy: 193.113.200.195
Port: 8080
Username: o2wap
Password: password
Server: <not set>
MMSC: http:mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: <not set>
APN protocol: IPv4

Name: o2 mms postpay
APN: wap.o2.co.uk
Proxy: <not set>
Port: <not set>
Username: o2wap
Password: password
Server: <not set>
MMSC: http:mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMS proxy: 193.113.200.195
MMS port: 8080
MCC: 234
MNC: 10
Authentication type: PAP
APN type mms
APN protocol IPv4

You need to select the o2 postpay APN. The MMS one will be selected automatically when you send an MMS.

Now download APN Backup because typing that lot again is a pain in the proverbial!

Mine vary slightly.

I named mine WEB and MMS:

WEB
APN:mobile.o2.co.uk
Username:web
Password:password
MCC:234
MNC:10
APN Type:default,supl

MMS
APN:wap.o2.co.uk
Username:eek:2wap
Password:password
Server:http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMSC:http://mmsc.mms.o2.co.uk:8002
MMS Proxy:193.113.200.195
MMS Port:8080
MCC:234
MNC:10
APN Type:MMS

For info, I originally had 1 APN (Which was essentially with the connection info for WEB mixed with MMS). This was flaky so I got separated details as above. This way all web traffic goes through WEB and All MMS goesd through MMS. No exceptions. Works beautifully.

By the way, those 2 apn listed are both basically the same. They both do web and mms, which is what I mentioned earlier.
