Root @Metro apk - need it :]

I lost all 4G service and have no idea why. I need to reinstall the apps from the @metro store, but I deleted the app when I rooted. I would be so, so appreciative if someone could send me the apk or post it. This phone has been nothing but a nightmare and just want this problem to go away. Thank you.:o
 
Are you using a battery saver? I had a similar problem, the battery saver would disable data when the phone was asleep. Then it would come up at nothing or 3g only.

Go to settings/wireless &networks/mobile networks, and make sure that data is enabled.... Just a thought.
 
Took my phone into Metro today because of the signal loss. Apparently something happened and my phone number is missing if I go into settings, phone info, status. I don't know how that happened but that's the reason why I don't have a signal [according to the guy at metro]. I deleted the su apk and it looked unrooted but he figured out it was and told me there was nothing he could do. He couldn't even get into the metro menu to do a reprogramming.

My questions are:
1. has this happened to anyone before?
2. Will downgrading to zvb [bloatware glory and all] allow someone to reprogram it?

As a girl, I've been crying for the last hour because I just feel lost. Any help would be so much appreciated.

I literally said "Oh God, that's horrible!" After I read this. Did you go to a corporate store or a regular one? And Can you take a picture of what it says in phone setting.

Sounds kind of like yours and fuzzy's problem from before mex . Go for it winklebottom..the downgrade that is

If the phone is still in the same state we will go from there.
Just remember if you ever have to take the phone to a metro store..we will help you remove root so there are no issues.
 
If you can see your min in settings> about phone then write it down and enter ##626* and go to edit and put in your number and min. I'll try and find the Sid for you.

I dont think that metro person knew shit about phones.
 
If you're in the Atlanta area try this sid 03018. Don't know about other cities though. I hate seeing the damn lg hidden menu. made me hate #.

:] I am definitely going to attempt the downgrade and see what goes on. You guys are being beyond helpful and I appreciate it so much. I'll do it after this cup of coffee and then report back :)

You and me both. After seeing the words test mode and both the lg hidden menu it literally makes me want to eliminate "#" from the face of the earth lol.
 
Took over 2 hours I think but it was well worth it getting her back up and running. I know the feeling of trying to fix test mode, IT F'ING SUCKS. So I'm just glad I was able to help and make it easier.


And honestly with her being very knowledgeable with rooting helped A TON so watch out guys, this girl knows her shit and might be a valuable asset to our Forum. :D
