WiFi Tethering doesn't work :(

Wifi Tethering or Wifi Router?

Mob, how would I go about restoring the default HTC lock screen so that I can set it to be the Weather? I see that the option is till there in the Personalize menu and it says that it successfully applies, but it never does. Any ideas? Thanks

I left the HTC locksreen there in the system > apps folder incase someone wanted it back use a Root explorer like Es File Explorer and rename "HtcLockScreen.apk.bak" to "HtcLockScreen.apk" then reboot it should come back and do the reverse to remove it again

Wifi Tethering

When I turn on the WiFi Tether app I get an error message:

"Unfortunately, WiFi Tether has stopped."

***EDIT***
I tried doing a screen shot and that doesn't work. I also noticed that you don't have the option when hitting the power button to be able to take a screen shot there and choose how you want to reboot either into Recovery.

Thanks, that worked, but it didn't restore the 4 default apps that can be selected from the lock screen.

Thanks! I tried the screen shot and it worked....lol. I think I got spoiled with screen shot as being a selection when you hit the power button like on jmz's and the harmonia ROM.

Can you also add the percentage in the battery as well? I like that feature.

Bro, I don't even know what quadrant is...lol

I also noticed something a little weird. When I was adding a pin code the key pad is smaller. I attached a pic.

Its a test to see hoe your phone compares with some of the Top phones like the Htc One X and the Galaxy Nexus here's a link to the app

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.aurorasoftworks.quadrant.ui.standard

I'd run Quadrant if I was able to flash the damn thing...

Try flashing it through TWRP

Idk how to change recoveries

I'm redownloading. Can someone get me the md5 sum?
To change recoveries:
  • You need to boot into the bootloader.
  • Then you select fastboot. (it should say fastboot usb when your phone is connected).
  • Then you open a command prompt/terminal on your computer and navigate to wherever your fastboot.exe is (probably c:/sdk-tools if you did the mini sdk, or wherever you installed sdk-tools if you did a full install).
  • Make sure the recovery.img is in that folder on the computer as well.
  • Type
    Code:
    fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
  • If your recovery .img file has a different name, then type that instead of recovery.img.

There you go. :dalek:
