Want to buy a gaming android phone in December 2012

Hi! I want to buy a gaming android phone in December 2012.Not before that.I would like that phone to have high specs,good camera and decent sound.Physical buttons like Sony Ericsson Xperia PLAY will also do.It should be good enough not to get outdated for 1 and a half years.
I am willing to pay anything.
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

I don't think anyone has any idea what phone will come out 6 months from now. Processors will progress, a new version of Android will come out, screens will get better etc. Don't think anyone can pick a phone right now.

Heck, we don't even know when phones that have been announced will be released. HTC Incredible 4G for instance.

I know around that time, you'll be able to get Tegra 3 Processor phones with 4G LTE. Was looking at Nvidia's time line and they don't expect to have the issue fixed till then. It's mostly into 2013 by last reports. You can still get the quad core phones even now, however, they will only have 3G. Like also was already said, nobody knows what will be out at that time. You can just keep a eye on the technology and hope a manufacture starts producing it as quickly as possible. Several Tegra 3 chipset phones and tablets run games very smoothly right now. Plus you can get the gaming controller to connect. If you're not expecting to buy till that time, just ask in December.

Samsung uses Exynos, and the new quadcore Exynos on the S3 goes up against the Tegra 3 on the HTC OneX head to head and in some areas does better than the Tegra 3. T3 may have faster procs, but the Exynos has better graphics processing. The new Exynos is also on the way, using the new upgraded but yet unreleased Mali 604, which is as of the moment the king of mobile graphics, at least until we can see how Adreno reacts to that (its better than the 225 AFAIK, so maybe Adreno will released the 300 or something).

You can already download and play ps3, xbox and nintendo game roms on the S3 and use a ps3 or xbox controller to play them.

No need to wait. But if you want a phone with a joystick and lots of buttons, stick with Sony. Although, not sure why you just don't buy a dedicated handheld game console like Sony's, if you are big into gaming?

I'd agree with Covart. A dedicated handheld system is probably the best idea.

That said, there are a lot of phones currently on the market that will be fantastic for you for gaming. The GSIII international version comes to mind. I can't recall off the top of my head how many Tegra 3 phones there are, but those would be good as well.

If you really are going for gaming as your primary factor, I'd wait for a sequel to the Sony Xperia Play.

Just wanted to add that they were looking at any that were going to be released around December.

I'll have to look at the other quad core processor "Exynos". Based on leaked info, supposedly Nvidia will be releasing their Tegra 4 processor chips Q1 of 2013 too.

Like what has been mentioned, you could always just use a device that was made for gaming. If not and still want to try to do a all in one type of device, just wait till around December and check back. Technology is changing very rapidly right now and what is the best now will not be in a month or less.

Personal thought-> It's starting to look worth while to do a 1yr agreement now to try and keep up with the new tech.
