~The battery tweaks provided are only to help save battery when NOT using your device, i cannot stop the battery drain from streaming videos and browsing web..

~If you flash a theme over this rom, 99% of the time the framework will be changed and no-longer considered part of the rom, so most issues should be directed towards the 'THEME' thread and NOT this 'ROM' thread

Hey everyone, special request by: KrazeeCracker I am going to port over the rom i have made for the LG-Esteem for the Connect 4g

now before you all bash me for pre-making a thread with no rom yet i just want you to know, i made this so the people who are interested can check out the Original thread from esteem, and so I can see who is willing to be testers

Since I myself do NOT own a LG-Connect it will be very difficult for me to perfect this thing but i will try my best and thanks to all of you we can get it right!! lol

So here is the link to my original rom, with much thanks and help from mtmichaelson, PlayfulGod, ShinySide etc.. (too many to name) without these guys my esteem would not be as cool as it is lol and i hope you all enjoy!!

haha well it's gonna take longer than i thought...

after installing framework i still couldn't get systemui to decompile.. so as of now i grabbed the stock/rooted backup file of zva and am currently de-odexing the stock system files.. so im gonna be starting from scratch here

I got stuck bootlooping at lg screen. Let it do that for about ten minutes and pulled battery to do hard key recovery. At first it took me to stock recover i thought i was a goner. Lol.

did it work for anybody else if so i will reflash.

ok before i shoot myself do me a favor lol can you re-flash the rom but then flash a different kernel to it right after, hopefully it just my boot.img :/ if not than i gotta re-do lol

actually better yet.. test this for me if possible.. it's the boot.img im using flash it over broken out, i just need to know if it boots or loops lol

I can do that but what do you mean flash another kernal. Maybe that was what i did wrong. I just flashed it same way as broken out from stock zva. I will try the second one can you provide instructions.?

yeah nvm this should answer my questions lol, i meant like flash mt's kernel but i dont think he provided it in a flashable zip so just try the one i provided above flashed on broken out

on a side note: im having some serious issues trying to decompile the systemui.apk for this device.. anyone have any advice? i tried everything i know of.. im using pure stock de-odex framework & systemui apk's i installed the stock framework but still cant decompile the stock systemui. which is a big problem..

I reboot into recovery.
Factory reset/wipe data
clear cache
clear dalvik
clear battery
install zip from sd

this is the method i did for all three. The first from zva. Second two from broken out.

shouldn't... if anything test 3 should work perfect.. but i guess not.. lol
