HTC Droid Incredible 4G LTE Review - Watch CNET's Video Review

Here's what I don't get:

"For just $50 more you could have the Galaxy S3 that offers a superb camera, better screen, and many more features. If you must have a phone to survive all day and then some, the Droid Razr Maxx is your pricey but unbeatable option."

Does no one care about screen size? I don't want a stinkin' phablet...

One of the things they mentioned as a negative on their was the screen wasn't HD. The first guys on here who got the phone commented on how the icons were smaller than on their Inc1&2, which was due to going from 800x480 to the 960x540 qHD resolution. I noticed the same thing on my Rezound, going from a 800x480 4" screen to a 720P 4.3" screen. Just imagine how small the icons would be if they had 720P on that 4" screen!

While I like awesome specs as much as the next guy, some of these techblogs are getting out of hand. Now it's almost like the phone is midrange if it ONLY has a 4.3" screen. There comes a point when the size will interfere with using it as a phone or messaging device. If you want to watch video on a larger screen, get a tablet, or the Samsung Beam (the projector phone). If this keeps up people are going to be holding something like a Galaxy Tab 10 to the side of their face.

Screen size should never factor much into the final rating of a review, it's simply what size you prefer.

Well said and it's too bad most reviewers don't keep this in mind.

Reviews should evaluate things everyone cares about, regardless of screen size. Things like build quality, call quality, network performance, CPU/memory/storage performance, battery life. Things like that.

I could even do without reviews going too deep into included software as most of these applications could be replaced by third-party apps.

It's not just Cnet, even major phone reviewers like Aaron from Phonedog and I have been others on youtube also say, it's not really worth getting this phone because for $50.00 more you could get this....They say the Inc 4G should have been priced at $99.00 not $149.00.

The Inc 4G is getting good reviews as far as size and form factor and some specs but overall it's getting bad reviews for price and what you get for that price compared to other phones out on the market.

I would bet you in 3 months, this phone will be down to $99.00 at Verizon.

The icons are the same size as on my OG Dinc, just a bit sharper. Also the screen is the same shape as my Dinc. It is a hair wider and maybe half an inch longer.

There are people, iPhone users for example, who think a 4" screen is TOO BIG!

Screen size should never factor much into the final rating of a review, it's simply what size you prefer.

well they might hate the iphone5 then! lol.

i agree that comparing inc4 to sg3 is ridiculous. thats like saying i could buy a civic, but for $1000 bucks more, i could buy a small truck. why? i dont need a truck. i need a compact car.

however, the inc4 falls into that niche of 4" screen size which really has no direct competitors. but comparing a 4.7" isnt the right comparison.

i can palm a basketball, so unless the reviewer has the exact same hand size as me, i dont care what he has to say about form factor

Any downside to buying from Best Buy instead of the Verizon corporate store?

My contract has expired and I will be signing a new two-year contract.

I had to go through Verizon in order to get a special early upgrade. If you don't have to do that, go to best buy. The only difference is that they are a 3rd party retailer. I would call around and ask for specifics but I honestly don't think there is anything to watch out for.

I dont understand why people are expecting this phone to get great reviews, the build quality is poor compared to the other phones of the same cost. Not only that but its way over priced.

Secondly, whats with the red speaker grill and red power button? It looks like a cheap children's toy.

Other than the chipset there is nothing quality about this phone.

So now Samsung is the king of build quality? Because that's who all of these reviewers who don't like the phone are pointing people to. The red on the phone is on there because the original Incredible had it, and they're honoring it. Plus you forgot the red camera ring.

I have asked this many times already but you've never answered. What would you suggest for people who don't want a 4.3" or larger phone? Everyone of your posts has been in the Incredible 4g LTE's thread, and everyone bashing it. How about go to the forum of the phone you want and discuss it with fellow people. You're starting to sound like those people who hate a show, but can't stop talking about it.
