You can click "Change Delivery" (might need MyChoice account (free)) and have them hold it at the a UPS operation center which can be available for pickup as early as 8am usually. Think they'll give you a call when it's in.

Can anyone offer any speculation as to when mine might arrive if I ordered yesterday? Website still says ships in 1-2 weeks, but if Google is behind I will be very disappointed. I am looking forward to having it with me for the car ride when I go on vacation at the beginning of August.

I got an updated shipping code today. I tried to have the package delivered to the store where I can refuse delivery. We'll see if that happens though.

Mine updated today as well saying created the 11th and in transit 2nd day air from KY as well as of 920 this morning.

I know a ton of people have said "Google botched this and I deserve my shipping back" and so on... Google said mid-July... Guess what... It's mid July and they are shipping... They technically have most of this week to get them out to still hit that. I will agree they dropped the ball by not giving a firm date... But maybe something was going on behind the scenes that needed to get fixed and that was the timline given to Google for that... I paid for 2 day shipping and that's exactly what I'm getting... I never once took that as "you'll get it first." I took that as we will all get one of the first around the middle of the month, and that appears to be what's happening. Since this will be my first tablet I am breaking one of my rules and getting new tech at first availability. Hopefully I don't get one with screen or brick issues that I have seen being reported.

This was not said to get anyone riled up, but just my opinion which is what it is... An opinion.

Let's all stay cool and stalk out tracking numbers every 30 mins until the sweet N7 goodness is in our hand and we are struggling to open the box as I have heard happen haha.

BTW my tracking number did not show info this morning until I logged into that free ups account people have been talking about.

Dude the device is out of stock in just about every retailer. There were a lucky few that got it that first day but that was about it. At least when you pre ordered it from Google you know you will get in the next couple of days. Be patient and relax.

I didn't, because I didn't want to deal with returning one etc etc. Google really screwed the release. No way should a preorder be shipped that far after being generally available.

I tried everywhere I could this weekend and no one had them... The SamsClub was out and all of the gamestops here were unified in telling me they could only release pre-orders and I would have to place my order and wait for it to ship...

Retailers started selling before getting the green light... Google had to scramble. We can honestly thank the retailers for this one. I know, I know, Google didnt give a firm release date... So why did the retailers assume they knew what it was? Google's fault for not having a firm release date + Retailers jumping the gun releasing items early.

Just by looking at the way the shipping was going I can honestly say I think google was wanting us to get them first and have the retailers release this week..
