Shipping date speculation

the supervisor lied to you dtemp...they told me they were going to put a tracer on mine and i would hear from them by today, so when i called them they had no documentation or anything about a tracer, there was nothing, they tried telling me that i never called on monday. this is a joke.

just like my tablet, yours never shipped, mine was ordered on the 28th of june and STILL hasn't shipped and i'm in Tennessee, not even out of country by all definition i should have been one of the first people to get one, yet every time i call to check up on it, they lie to me. they even tried telling me that my bank refused the transaction so i offered to conference the bank in when i was talking to the supervisor since i was good friends with the branch manager and then he turned around and started making up another story.

Wow that sucks. I do know the tracer happened. My tracking number that I got on 7/16 had its first sign of life today when it listed the tracer. So far it's been a few hours and I don't have a new shipment email yet.

You're right though, they have no record of previous calls. I had to go through my previous 3 calls with them and tell them how I've been getting screwed.

My order was 6/27 FYI.

I don't know what I'd do if I were you. Maybe the BBB or call your CC company.

its easy to know what i would do....i spent the last hour on google searching, then i stumbled upon BrandsMart USA: Of course, your favorite brands at low, low prices who still has them in stock, google was charging me $288 after shipping, these guys are charging $261 after shipping. makes up for the $25 google play credit that i might lose, they are in georgia so it should be here bassically overnight since its only about 3 hours away from me anyways. all works out in the end, and this way i dont have to deal with the frustrations of the customer service that i've been putting up with. if google does still ship my tablet out like they've been claiming to for the last 2 weeks they will do "in the next couple of days" then i guess i'll just have 2, hopefully that way only 1 of the tablets will have the rising screen issue and i'll still have 1 good tablet to work with lol

i ordered mine froday night, was shipped on monday, arrives in TN today and will be at my house tomorrow. so much easier then dealing with google

Yeah... I think I made a mistake today. I called back today saying I didn't get a tracking number yet for the new tablet they were shipping me. They said they had no record of a supervisor saying it was ok to mail me a new one, and he wouldn't have been able to mail me a new one anyway until I filled out a lost/stolen device form. They had me fill out a form which allows them to remotely brick the tablet that I should have gotten. I filled out the form immediately but someone is going to get back to me in a WEEK about shipping me a new tablet. I was calm on the phone but I'm not happy with this solution. I should have just had them cancel my order and refund me, and I'd be free to work on grabbing a tablet a different way.

The supervisor I spoke with today promises me it will be fixed this time. Well, Will B., you freaking better.

Heh thanks jmar. This has turned from the "shipping date speculation" thread into the "shipping problems" thread.

I was hanging around my coworkers during a break when I made the call; while I was on hold, I explained to them my situation. They were egging me on to curse out the person on the other end if I didn't get satisfaction. I was unable to :rolleyes:

A week after signing a form that allowed them to remotely brick a lost/stolen device, they were supposed to mail me a new one, but instead they just refunded my money and told me to put in another order. The refund was pending for a couple days on my CC, but now the refund is complete.

As for putting in a new order... I think I'll just pick one up at a B&M store :) I happened upon an Office Max and a couple Staples stores while out for work, and none of them had a 16GB. I figure in a few weeks I'll just be able to get one easily.
