Help Wallpaper resizing/cropping/display issue

I put some wallpaper artwork I had on my PC onto my MicroSD card, so I could have some really nice wallpapers on my RAZR, and when I try to set them as wallpaper they have to be cropped down. Alright, I think to myself, that makes sense because of how huge they are & their size (width/height). I cropped 'em on Photoshop so they fit (or so I thought) but when I try to set them as my wallpaper on the phone, it tries to still crop them up before using it.

The problem is this; the wallpaper crop area is a square, and I can't stretch just 1 direction (just horizontal or just vertical). Anyone know why this is happening, or if there's a way around it?

Use Wallpaper Set and Save from the Market. Also Wallpapyrus is an option.

Wallpaper size should be 960hx1080w

Is there any way to have it take a different sized wallpaper? I only use 1 screen for my home screen (i.e. no swiping left/right) so it's kind of like I'm losing most of the photo for the background. BTW I use LauncherPro if that makes any difference.

Using the aps I recommended, you can use any size.

I tried Wallpaper Set & Save, and it wasn't any better than the normal way to put on a wallpaper.

I'd like to be able to have something more like 830h x 600w if that's possible, since I pretty much always have my phone held up portrait-style (as opposed to landscape).

You cannot change resolution of the screen. If you use the resolution I posted earlier, you will get what you need.

That resolution seems really weird for people like me who only use 1 home page screen (as opposed to the default 5).

Anyways, I went & got Wallpapyrus and it's fantastic. Pretty much exactly what I wanted, plus the nice option of double-tap to change wallpapers on the fly from a pre-set folder. The only thing I wish it had was an option to turn on/off randomization when in that wallpaper change mode (so I don't occasionally get the same one twice in a row etc). Thanks a bunch Szadzik.

Wallpaper Wizardrii is another great app for scrolling or non-scrolling wallpaper. Free and paid versions. I use free. Works great.

aawwww man, it doesn't download anymore! Arrggh. Trying to find a resolution for this wallpaper sizing problem for my Samsung Epic is so annoying. I've tried, Wallpaper Wizardrii...doesn't work. Wallpaper Size to Size, doesn't work. I was really hoping I could get this some how! Wallpaper Auto Resize also doesn't work. So any other suggestions? Thanks!
