Hold on with the Update

alright so officially there is an update for the admire for metropcs, who would have thought they it would come out lol. anyway these new updates usually contains some bugs and things like it so it is unknown at the moment whether to upgrade to 2.3.6. id would recommend downloading the the actual upgrade from the Samsung website and hold off on it, there are a few people right now testing the upgrade, also there is not root for the 2.3.6 update yet. if you do update them testing it and reporting anything you might come across here would be helpful and if you want to return back just use odin.

I have updated to this. It clean out my admire and deleted everything on my phone

Oh BTW, if you update binary the superuser app will take too much time for the prompt to appear(causing root check to fail)... I think this only happens to me but oh well... I bet it happens to someone else. Did you try updating without root?

Edit: I have 2.3.6 but it came like that when bought

it came like that when bought?? did you just recently buy it?? and no you are not the only one to get that problem with the binary. ive experienced it and and i know some others have too. since i really dont know how to roll back the binary or if thats even possible all i did was get an old version of superuser and i dont have the problem anymore. it might work for other but i cant guarantee it. even in the play store it tells you not to update the app if everything is working fine with it.

If you download superuser from the play store it comes with an outdated binary and works perfect for my phone. Try that.

i did download it from the store awhile back and the binary wasnt out date when i did it. anyways its not a problem as i have it working and everything and id rather not screw anything up then have to to go to the trouble to fix it. dont fix whats not broken lol
