Root No USB connectivity options

So I was about to backup my ROM and i got an error while in CWM. After the error, i rebooted and noticed i wasnt getting any USB connectivity options in the notifications bar. I rebooted couple of times and nothing. Any way i can troubleshoot this problem? Thanks

I am running Number Two (#2) v2.2 and ICS 4.0 v1.1 theme

Obvious question I know but Is USB debugging enabled?

2nd. Does hitting the # sign on your dialer take you to a hidden menu?

Ive tried enabling and disabling debug mode and nothing. And no my phone still has service.
Everything was fine until i tried to do a backup and got an error message. :\

Yeah i mean I dont see how an error message would mess with anything. I've gotten error messages over and over and over again when I was learning to theme and I never had any problems.

It sounds like it might just be freakin out.

Pull the battery and SD card and let it sit for 5 minutes or so. Then pop them both back in and boot it up and see whats up.

Honestly i dont know. It was probably something i did before and didnt notice untill the reboot.
Ill try it out and see what happens.
Thanks

Yeah I mean unless you were editing the build.prop or editing in the hidden menus, I dont know of anything in the settings that would cause that.

But I wanna say I had this problem once before and I just needed to remount the SD card. Phones just wig out sometimes so hopefully thats it. :/

I dont mess with the phone's files and settings just too avoid this kind of trouble
I tried removing the battery and sd card and still getting nothing.

Another dumb question but have you tried a different USB port?

Wouldnt hurt but try and re install the phones drivers. Go and uninstall the LG drivers on your PC. THEN simply plug your phone in and let your PC install the drivers manually. Maybe that will help ???
