Help Is it safe to do a factory reset after installing an RUU?

I jumped on the .10 leak and then the .12 leak. I'm wondering if a factory reset will work now or lock up. I know the software ID infor is way different if you are on the leak.

TIA

Of course a factory reset will work, why would it lock up?

Are you having issues or is there some other reason you think you shouldn't do a factory reset?

The .12 RUU is EXACTLY THE SAME AS THE OTA RELEASE, just a full version of the ROM instead of the differential deltas from GB.

I'm interested in the factory reset because of the batter issues (drain time and high temps) that seem to be fised that wat for people who got the OTA.

As far as the RRU goes, it may be exactly the same as the OTA, but it does not populate the software status details the same. I'm just wondering if there is something in the status details (for example the CODE: 200) that would cause the phone to fail on reload after a factory reset.

OK, I get it, didn't mean to sound condescending ... But you can rest assured a factory reset on the RUU will work just as well as on any other official software. I do not know if the update status detail will change or not, but it should be irrelevant.

Thanks, I'll give it a try and report back.
