I have a folder called "instant uploads". It's full of all the pics I took on my last phone, the bionic. There are a couple inappropriate photos in there and I can't delete any of them. I'd really like to delete some of them so I don't pass off future girlfriends. Please help....

The moment I snap a photo I can find it in my dropbox computer in the camupload folder

just make sure you have dropbox installed on your computer then go into that folder and delete the inappropriate ones

[SOLUTION] : Smile.. i just find the way to make the album from web i dont want shown on my tablet... i using galaxy tab 7.0 plus... Took me a few hours to think, until i delete gmail acc, the album still exist..

Here we go.. :

1. Go to settings (phone/tablet settings)

2. On left Panel, see [Personal] >> Accounts and sync

3. Manage accounts : There ur can see acc (email ur use for other app). Before go here, make sure u got another backup gmail acc. Click ur email which contain ur photo album at website. Then [Remove account] - Can see at top right screen.

4. Now select new gmail account u just create. Then click [Sync now] at the top right screen..

5. Then, try go see gallery if still exist. ;-)

My not so Stellar Samsung Stellar is the same way. I was using Yahoo weather for awhile. When I went into my Gallery, there were two photos sent there from the weather app.( Not sure why.) They're Instant Upload photos, and I cannot delete them at all. Not bashing Android, but Windows phone is no way near as much of a headache to do simple tasks as this phone.
I still like the Android OS for what it can do out of the box, but it certainly can be frustrating on other levels where it should not be.

Hi I hope its not too late. Y had the same problem y solved this way: In the folder Files, got into DCIM and pressed the left button (where options are, like share, delete, order) look for "More" "Configuration" and click the option "show hidden files". Go back one time and instead just "Camera" folder you will see one more called ".thumbnails". Get into that folder y erase all fhotos you dont want to have AND you must to erase too the file ".thumbnaildata654654" (you cant see that file but in the details I realized its the problem because of the size, its like a backup). Y looked in the web and you can erase the thumbnails files without any problem. Good luck!

I called Sprint and spoke to a tech. What you need to do is go to your Gmail on the web browser in desktop mode. Click on the tab that says "more", then click on the tab that says "drive." Make sure you're still in desktop mode on the "Welcome to Google Drive" screen. On that screen you're going to want to select the "more" tab again and a drop down selection box appears and you want to select the "photos" option. Once in there, you should be able to delete single photos or entire albums from instant upload. Once deleted here, they no longer appear on your device. I just did it, and it worked like a charm.

Good luck!
