I know that quite a few people have trouble with their wifi on the One X but I'm a little worried about mine,

Its been picking up WiFi networks fine since i bought it but over the last few days the signal strength its receiving seems to have dropped right off.

Both at home and work i used to have 3 bars up will about 20m away but now its going down to 1 bar within 5m and totally loosing connection by 10m.

Anyone advice on what could be causing this?
Is it worth waiting to see it Jelly Bean improves the reception before looking into whether it needs something repairing?

Have you tried the common fixes? Changing the channel on the router? Assigning yourself a static IP etc?

I cant try either of these fixes with the works router but will try them when i get home tonight,

Although i'm not sure how these would be the solution as the wifi signal has lost strength on every network that i've connected to recently, wouldn't that suggest its a problem with the phones wifi connection?

Have you tried using the Best WiFi Performance option and seeing if that helps?

Ive tried that and the browser seems to run slightly better but it has no affect on the signal strength, i still loose connection at a fraction of the distance from the routers than i did a week ago.

Potentially yes, but these are relatively common fixes for quite a number of Android WiFi issues and work in a lot of cases. I'm not saying they will here, but there's no harm in giving it a try. :)
