Root: any way do disable ANR dialogs in ICS?

super bloody annoying and unnecessary since the app is usually performing actions that only temporarily slow it down. Another:

'Unfortunately, Go Launcher has stopped (ok)

The launcher will restart so again, banging my head. These 'ANR' dialogs are once again why I prefer iOS over android. Just wait or load my app ok?! Is there any way at all for those with rooted devices to remove these annoying prompts? They seem worse on ICS (GB doesn't have them)

The ROM Toolbox pro app has a way to disable them I believe.

GoLauncher used to be good but has gotten very bloated and buggy. Get rid of it and you should eliminate some of these errors. There's many better launchers - Nova, Apex, Holo, Zeam, etc.

Can't agree more with this also.
GO launcher is old and bloated.
Use a launcher designed for running ICS and up. The big two are Apex and Nova. I prefer Apex pro, but both are great launchers.

I didn't even think Go Launcher is updated still? So i would definitely look into the 2 following:

Go launcher is my favorite and no other cuts it for me. My problem is the unnecessary popups that bug me and one thing I despise out of Android and one thing missing from iOS that makes iOS more comforting to me. So why not help me fix the problem instead of targeting its symptom. I do like Android and seriously want to give it a chance but annoying me isn't working. Heck not just iOS, Android Gingerbread lacked the not responding garbage seems ICS made Android more annoying than it was; the one thing worse than laggy UI transitions. I can only pray Jellybean lacks lag and annoying popups

i cant be specific but I really like it. Everyone has their preferred launcher. I got a paid themes also that wont work on others. I like the Go apps and widgets. Go launcher is on all my devices including a Gingerbread device and ive eliminated much of the lag so they run smooth. Yes it gets updates often. The one error I posted was just an example not confined to the launcher and only did it once. Id much rather disable the more common 'app isn't responding do you want to close it' which was added in ICS and is a bloody annoyance

Holo launcher is far better on Gingerbread devices, and I *think* will use Go themes (don't hold me to that though).

If it makes the claim that iOS crashes more than Android I refuse to believe it. My ipad is rock hard stable and when it (rarely) does crash at least its not a bully about it the way Android is plus there are no not responding dialogs because they aren't needed. Its the one agonizing problem with ICS because it didn't exist until ICS.

One reason I prefer Go Launcher is the badge notifications that I'm quite fond of in iOS.

these ANR dialogs are useless and only cause people frustration. just got three more when I woke up my device only because it 'took too long' to pull up the launcher. there is no need when all it takes is a few more bloody seconds and then I can use my device. these prompts only make me hate ICS more than GB all over again

With Apex pro you can use themes from other launchers. So you can use your paid go launcher themes.

Why can't it be accurate? Because you "one person" is having issues? You can not believe it all you want that doesn't mean it's not true. Also that's forbes, not some site no one has every heard of and doesn't have any data to backup their results.
Also it's comical that you're comparing a tablet to a smartphone.

First of all I prefer Go Launcher. and it's not the Launcher's fault. it happens across many apps I actually use like Facebook, ES File Explorer and various others. if any app is doing something intensive like updating the news feeds, or browsing a large folder full of many files, if I tap too fast to click something and nothing happens in a few seconds, these annoying pop-ups show up. they are not needed and force me to over and over again click 'wait' when I should just wait for it to respond. they introduced these in either Honeycomb or ICS (never used the former so I assume the latter) and they increase the annoyance factor. I would rather just disable them than blame the app. replacing apps does not fix the problem! it just treats the symptom.

also, this applies to tablets. my phone runs GB but I have used mainly GB for a long time. it only shows force close alerts, but ICS and up show those (albeit very rare as they are the most stable versions as of yet) and these newer 'ANRs' or 'App not responding' dialogs. one reason I prefer iOS is because it does not annoy the user. if an app crashes, it just reloads where you never notice the problem (Facebook, for example, just re-draws itself looking more like a simple feed refresh than a crash) or an app simply exits. this is something Android needs to do because annoying users will only make them run back to Apple or RIM.

when apps take a while to respond to touch again, or when they crash, the user is probably aware that they are taking awhile to respond or that they crashed. there is no need to tell the obvious. it's not like Android ANRs even give data to help locate the cause of the problem (that is what logcat viewers are for) they just needlessly annoy people with mandatory ok buttons when all that is needed is to exit the app or wait a few seconds longer
