Samsung Galaxy Note 3!!!

Ok I admit, I did say elsewhere that the Note 2 may just be the device that holds me true to a 2 year contract instead of getting a new device each year, but if the 7 inch Note is true and comes out in 2013, you know that I will be getting it. That would make it all Notes in a 12 month period, mwuahhahahahahaha, More power ugh ugh ugh lol

I love what Samsung did by making the Note 2 taller, making it easier to handle. I think it's perfect, leave it at that and just improve the Specs (1080P, 3GB RAM, etc.).

The other rumour that disturbs me is the S4 getting the S-Pen, which I don't understand. If this is true, I think they should just END the Note and give us a 7"+ Note Tablet LTE to compete with Apple's iPad mini.

Agreed, i don't think a larger screen than the current will work as a phone. The only thing I don't like to do on my Note 2 is to make/take calls (ironic, eh). It's too big to use if I forget my BT headset. Part of the problem is a big leather case, and the speaker phone is just not loud enough for Kathmandu traffic noise.

Hey guys. I'm really looking forward to this phone! Any chance this thing will incorporate the bendable OLED tech? If its announced this month I don't think so, but if the announcement was later (sept) do you think we could expect some incorporation of a bendable screen?

Don't think bendable OLED, that will be a new category other than Note. But per my other post (http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2/686667-curved-display-flex-oled-in-future-note-x.html) - curved display would fit right in with Note 3 and their flip case. Just think about it, everybody trying to copy 5.5" display. Sure, not everybody (or anybody at all) will have s-pen/stylus. But imagine having a curved glass edge as a separate 1-line display of notifications?!? That would be totaly awesome!!!

I remember seeing that video. Now THAT would be something to have. For that to be of use though the phone would have to be thicker than usual for the screen on the side to be worth it. The prototype they show it on seems thicker than the current smartphone trend.

Edit: I'm not saying it wouldn't be better thicker (bigger battery and all) just that it seems like might be unlikely

I remember it being discussed in another thread, but I liked the mock commercial they put together showing how it'll work in real life scenarios:

Youm Flexible OLED Display Commercial: Samsung CES 2013 - YouTube

I'd be down for either of the products that they showed!...LOL.
