Put your iTunes music on your LG Motion: Simple.

I have had the LG motion for about a week now. Love it. But I still had my iPhone 3G, just for the sake of my massive music collection on there. Finally got my pictures transfered (50 emails to myself later), and decided to figure out once and for all if i can put itunes music on my new phone. I had read some other posts on here about having to buy apps and all that BS.
NOT THE CASE.
I did this for free and in under 2 hours.

I have no clue how to do it with a mac. I have a old POS windows laptop.
Anyways....

Sync your iPhone first, so you have ALL your music on your computer.
Make a folder on your desktop. This is where you are going to put the music that you want on your phone. Just drag it from your itunes library.

Take the usb from the charger for the motion, plug it into the laptop. A couple of prompts come up, choose the option to sync music with windows music player (makes sense... why didnt i figure this out sooner?).

Drag the folder into the bottom right corner where it says to.

Press sync. And throw in a load of laundry while it syncs. mine just finished. the syncing process took all of 5 minutes for over 1000 songs.

1 second to connect usb.
5 sec to sync
5 sec to drag it from/to pc/mp3 player.
Vola!

Isnt there some other way. I remember hacking my ipod nano so I dont have to deal with itunes.

I actually used this trick for my admire when i first got it, but i just drag and dropped from iTunes library to my memory card.

From there you can stream or download it to an computer or phone with internet. Since the Motion is 4g (or use wifi), it works almost flawlessly. Its great nonetheless, especially if you dont want to use cables.

Google Play Music is certainly the best app to have all of your music available. since its stored onto your Google account this doesnt waste any space and you can also download the song onto your phone if you desire

Just another thumbs-up for Google Music. I've been using it for about a month now and love it. On the Metro unlimited plan, it's been great being able to stream my music anywhere and at anytime. Plus, no need to get multiple 32GB microSD cards to cart around the whole library.

Thanks again. I had the free version but the "Pro" version has more options and themes. The EQ is always a great feature.

I have too many music apps on my LG Motion and am running out of pages.

SKY.FM, Live365, Pandora, Slacker Radio, TuneIn Radio, XiiaLive Pro, SiriusXM, Jelli Radio.

The TuneIn phone app is so good I use it to set the freekin' TuneIn pooder app they've totally FUBARed up.

I listen to some radio shows that are say 3 hrs long. I may listen to the 1st hr on my phone then get the last 2 hrs when I get home on the pooder.

You Used To Be Able to go to TuneIn website from a pooder, pull up a specific radio show and it'd show all the stations that played that show, days and times. That made it easy to split the shows between devices. Then they removed this function. But it is kind of still on the mobile app. Sooo, I'll come home, use the phone to show me what stations have the show for how many different hours then plug the station I want into the pooder TuneIn page.

Not to mention you can search by all kinds of criteria, genre, location of stations, etc;

Ok, so I know thus its about how to get your iTunes music onto your Android phone, right? But what if something happened, and all of your iTunes music was deleted off your computer, and the only place you have it stored is on your iPod or iPhone, you're screwed right? Not at all, not on windows any way. People pay money for software that can recover music from an iPhone or iPod, when they don't need to. Simple video tutorial explaining how to recover your music from an iPod without iTunes. Works well for iPods that are corrupt after jailbreaking.

Any method involving taking the music off of the iPod directly has the chance of messing up the sound on your phone. Aac files have incredibly high volume threshold, playing these files can lead to you wearing out the speaker or even to your phone overheating (even I don't believe it, but I've felt it).

They are mpeg layer 4, does apple use aac to encode their m4a's? I've never heard of that
