Root [T-Mobile] stock recovery boots not CWM

I have root access still, however when i went to make my first backup of my 4.1.1 stock system i held down volume up, center, and power, let go of power when the screen went off, and it booted to stock recovery. why is cwm gone?

The UVALH2 update includes two files that will overwrite recovery every time you reboot.

You can fix this issue by renaming the following files using root explorer

Rename:
/system/recovery-from-boot.p to /system/recovery-from-boot.p.bak
and
/system/etc/install-recovery.sh to /system/etc/install-recovery.sh.bak

Once you've done that, reflash CWM through ROM Manager and recovery will stick, and not get reverted to the stock recovery.
Aloha!
