Alarm tones

Does anyone how to use my other notification or ring tones as alarm tones?

Create a folder media\ringtone (on your main member for best use) and then put the sound file in it.

You call the folder "media/ringtone" exactly (obviously without quotes)?

What is a "main member"?

from the root create media folder then create subfolder of media called ringtones (plural) I mistakenly had it singular in my post above.

I assume "root" doesn't mean I have to root my phone....?

I already made a folder in the "media" folder, labeled it "ringtones" and copied them in there, and I still can't use them for alarms.

Hey, sorry for not realizing this, maybe they just took a few minutes to show up. I DO HAVE THEM in there now. Thanks for the help!

Once you have the file in the right location you should see them listed in the possible tones Go to settings>sounddevice ringtone and your file should be listed. I am assuming that the tone is an mp3 file. If not I am not sure what other types of music will be allowed
