Unlocked bootload and CM10

My phone is stuck at the Cyanogen mod boot animation. I formated the data and all that fun stuff. I tried pulling the battery and stuff but still wont go past it.

It might take a good five to ten minutes on that screen, especially if you installed the google apps and/or restored a backup. If it takes longer than that, a dmesg and logcat using ADB during the hang would be helpful to reproduce the issue.

I'm working on the front cam in those few minutes of free time I can muster, and you are right in believing that it is a kernel issue (but that hasn't stopped us, the display was a kernel issue that took a while as well). Even if it doesn't get fixed soon, by Saturday I should have an A2 rom that fixes the power-off charger issue, adds a few kernel features, and makes an attempt at getting the wireless charging cover working.

I have a lead on the front camera. Could someone on stock ICS pull the file "/system/build.prop"? There are some non-standard properties in there that the camera libs use. Please note whether you are on ZV7 or ZV8 when posting.

Did a factory erase/wipe and then started from scratch

everything works fine up until after I install the b1 rom - reboots, I can see the LG logo, then black.....

my PC sees it when I plug it in via USB but it's just sitting at black right now

-edit:
going to start from scratch and try reflashing everything

I'm pretty sure you want the a1 rom

What would be the best way to get you a logcat for my boot problem? I have SDK-Tools and Platform-Tools instaLLED....

[it won't go past the cyanagenmod spinning circle]

Hmmm, that's 3 people with the same issue. If you have the tools installed, do another wipe data/factory reset in CWM, reboot while connected via USB, then open a Terminal/command prompt. After the phone has been on for about five minutes, run:

[HIGH]
adb shell dmesg > dmesg.txt
adb logcat > logcat.txt
[/HIGH]

Then press CONTROL + C after about 5 seconds of running the second command. Two new files should have appeared in the directory where the command prompt started; attach or post these two files and I'll take a look into why some lucids are hanging at boot.

I installed it but it didn't work, however it made the normal 4.1 app show up and work...

If I remember correctly they were saying the front camera doesn't work in this version but mine definitely does

How did you install it? Could you write out the steps so I can try and see if this was just a fluke or this could be a temporary fix.

Edit: After speaking with my wife this morning, her Lucid was having issues staying connected to the Wifi. I reset my router settings and everything is good to go

My Wifi connection keeps dropping. It'll stay connected for 10 seconds to about 2 mins. It appears to drop the connection immediately if the status bar goes away or displays an alert, which seems really odd. When I tried to pull a file from Box, an alert would pop up and the connection would be severed. I was in Dolphin full screen mode, the connection dropped. I took the browser out of full screen mode and the connection dropped after about 2 mins.
Any ideas why this is happening? I've power cycled my router after disabling the ACL settings. My laptop and my wife's other Lucid remain connected to the Wifi w/out issue.

Hi Anyone knows about adding GSM/WCDMA radio in Lucid?
I saw the Lucid processor Snapdragon MSM8660 support GSM/WCDMA, by adding it. the phone can be used in worldwide. :)

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snapdragon_(system_on_chip)#Snapdragon_S3

You can try the GSM auto mode in the CM10 network menu, but there's a good chance it won't work for want of an antenna. GSM has a different frequency which will probably not work on the Lucid's antenna.
