So I just inquired with Seidio about extended batteries and unfortunately, they said they have no plans to produce batteries for the Incredible - yet. After assuring him that they would definitely be in high demand, (vouching for several hundred users on this site, at least) he thanked me greatly and said he would pass off the information to the developers ASAP :D Come one Seidio, produce!

Hey guys,

First post here, I've been lurking for a few days now. I just bought a phone for my wife from Costco. They DO include an accessory pack (hers had a bluetooth, car charger, case and headphones), and the rebates are instant.

I am DYING for this phone to be released!!!

Carry on!
I was finally able to get through to them and the guy said it depends on the phone...BS. But thanks for coming out of lurk mode to help out!:D

I was stuck in a conference room all day with a bunch of electrical engineers talking about our portfolio (who were pretty much speaking Chinese, btw - I'm not an engineer, I'm a finance guy), with no open slots on the router for my laptop so I had no internet access. I got a text early in the AM about the leak, so I had to sit there in great anticipation all day for a look. It took about 35 minutes, but I finally caught up on everything.

*passes out from exhaustion*

Any chance? Yep.
I'm still betting on an April 22 announcement during the NFL Draft myself, though.

The announcement won't happen during the draft. They might run their first ads during the draft, but it would be announced through a press release, or a press conference.

i agree with woodraskam. To much other things going on that day with people paying more attation to the draft we might the first add like the i dont commercials

Hey guys, quick question about the Incredible's music player. Any info is appreciated! I commute a ways to school and like to listen to audiobooks on the drive. I use an iPod because I like the .m4b files where you can increase the playback speed. When I get my Incredible, I'd like to give my iPod to my wife. Does anyone know if there is a similar feature on the Incredible, or other Android phones? I'm not too tech savy, and sorry if a similar question has been asked, I searched through and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

I am an avid Costco shopper as well, just never got a phone through them. I really want to know about their rebate processing. Is it instant or mail in?

That's false. It IS 800x480. He is just talking about a way that the pixels are designed in HTC's OLED screens which some have said isn't the full resolution, but it is 800x480, despite what they say.

Also, can you use your NE2 at Costco? That free accessory kit sound good.

Best Buy lets you use NE2 right? Wouldn't Costco be the same?

Called Costco and was told that (in regards to rebates) it varies. Usually, it's a full instant rebate. However, there have been cases in the past where they had to split it up into a partial instant and partial mail-in. She said it depends on the deal they get with the supplier in order to purchase the phones at wholesale prices. They do offer "upgrade" pricing but she wasn't clear if that meant "new every two" discounts.

My guess is that is the final look. I can't imagine they would change it if they plan on an April 29 release. And check the evergreen thread for some new pics of cases. The black/red fade looks pretty sick.

"With the first pick of the 2010 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select.... the HTC Droid Incredible!" :D:D

My turn OT...

Nah, That'll be our second or third round pick. Gotta get a QB first!

PSL holder since first STL game in "old" Busch Stadium.

Back to topic... I can finally stop torturing my SmartQ7 tablet with the hacked, (er lightly modified :D ) version of Android and use something that's SUPPOSED to run the OS!

Yeah, my wife just upgraded at Costco with her NE2 a couple weeks ago and paid the same price as in Verizon stores. her rebate was instant in-store. The "accessory pack" was a cheap headset, a crappy case that she'll never use, and a car charger. Hopefully the accessory pack with the Incredible will be better.

With my NE2 coming up on 4/21, I've been asking CSRs that last month about vendors other than Verizon being able to use my NE2. I was told by a couple of them that only Verizon can honor the NE2. I think they were referring to places like Wirefly & Letstalk, but I wonder if they also meant places like BB & Verizon's authorized retail stores (Wireless World, etc.). Anyone know for sure? Any of these places employees who are reading we'd love a 'lil insight.
